Hi Russell, I would like to thank you and the team for fitting in our BMW, which had the coolant issue, at such short notice. That sort of service is getting hard to find, so a big "hats off" to you and team.

I keep all records of maintenance for my cars, I'm not really sure why I do, maybe I'm pedantic in looking after them… That said, sometimes they can be useful. Just thought you might be interested in knowing that back in Jan 09 when the car was reading 88103kms the thermostat housing was replaced. So, it did not last too long and I think that's disappointing, but there you go… Just thought I'd mention it in case you talk to BMW at some stage about these failures and to let you know it wasn't a very old part.

Hi Russel, Im so sorry for this inconvenience but over the weekend we managed to sell my car as is with no need to repair it seemed the best option for us. Many women have expressed their dissatisfaction with being ‘ripped off’ by mechanics who have done work on their car that is really not necessary! When I had some strange noises coming from my left rear wheel I plucked up courage and drove it round to Russel. Imagining all sorts of ‘not exciting things’ I answered all his questions and, after a thorough test drive, it was determined that it was only a build up of dust in the brake shoes!!! A quick clean up and the noise was gone!!! He even threw in a free WOF as a regular client bonus!! AND… it passed!!!

Russell was horrified when, after thanking him profusely, I explained how others, women in particular, have mentioned their fear of being 'ripped off' by those with less integrity!! How important it is – in all areas of our life, to find the people we can trust – and then – to pass on our recommendations!! Our reputation is everything and so…
